1.0436 is Boiler steel designed to operate at elevated temperature for many parts and subassemblies of pressure equipment operating up to 450 ℃, such as parts of pressure vessels, bolts, nuts, flanges, pipe joints and other power installations. P305GH is a grade in which mainly hot-rolled rods are supplied in the normalized state.

Steel making Process of P305GH forging round bars
Electric arc furnace or blast furnace and oxygen blast converter shall be used, each with subsequent ladle treatment;
Steel shall be vacuum degassed;
Steel shall be non-radioactive;
Quality class shall beat least MQ in accordance with ISO 6336-5 or DIN 3990-5;
Standard EN 10083 shall be followed.

The mechanical testing of 1.0436 forging [arts shall be performed on the qualification on its QTC representing the heat and heat treatment lot in accordance with ASTM A370, ASTM E8 or ISO 6892-1.
Hardness testing shall be in accordance with:
— ISO 6506-1 or ASTM E10, or
— ISO 6508-1 or ASTM E18.
—ISO 6507-1 or ASTM E384 maybe used if ISO 6506-1 or ISO 6508-1 cannot be applied due to size, accessibility, or other limitations.
CVN impact testing shall be in accordance with ASTM E23 or any equivalent specification
ALl our finished producrtion of P305GH forged parts should have inspection certificate as per 3.1B of EN 10204 shall be provided to clients in triplicate;this certificate must contain the following dala:
(a)Material code no and P.O.number
(b)Material designation
(c)Heat no.,heat analysis and melting methods
(d)Table with the single results for determination pf the purity grade at microsections and value of purity grade K1
(e)Mechanical test results including hardness range
