The Roller Reamer is designed for various reaming operation but particularly for stabilization purposes when drilling in very abrasive formations. It will fit hole sizes ranging from 6 to 28.In addition, each body by simple adjustment of blocks and proper selection of cutters, will suit a wide range of hole sizes.
Rollers are available below:
1. Narrow-teeth type is used for cutting of hole wall for soft formation.
2. Wid-flat-teeth type is used for crushing into pieces of borehole wall for medium and hard formation.
3. Inserted tungsten carbide alloy type is for hard formation.

The material grade of forged steel Roller Reamer Bodies that we could produce is AISI 4145H Mod, AISI 4330V MOD and so on
Forged steel Roller Reamer Bodies will be melting via Electric Arc Furnace, followed by Ladle Refining and Vacuum Degassing and is either cast into bottompoured wide end up ingots, or Continually Cast.
The fully forged steel Roller Reamer Bodies is heat treated to 285~341 Brinell hardeness and 54J minimum impact strength. Connections are phosphatized, coated with thread dope and equipped with thread protectors, and are accord with API standard. All types of cutters are also made of special alloy steel and full heat treated.
We could produce forged steel Roller Reamers body as per API 7-1 / 7-2 compliant material.
Ultrasonic and surface inspection for forged steel Roller Reamers body <=11”(280mm) diameter can be carried out to meet customer specifications.
Note: The test certificate will be endorsed with the following :’Ultra Sonic Testing Satisfactory, Confirming capability to API 7-1’.
ALl our finished forged steel Roller Reamers body should be accepted by the QC department of the manufacturer by conducting the following
examinations:
1) external examination;
2) a check of dimensions and marking;
3) chemical composition examination;
4) mechanical tests;
5) macrostructure examination;
6) residual stress measurement;
7) ultrasonic testing;
8) periscopic testing.
