Description
Jiangsu Liangyi is professional manufacturer of AISI L6,SKT4,55NCDV7,5KHNM,5KHNV open die forging parts and seamless rolled steel forged rings from china
Following is the shape of AISI L6,SKT4,55NCDV7,5KHNM,5KHNV forging steel material that we could do is:AISI L6 Forged Steel round bars square bars Flat bars Rectangles Bars Rods,SKT4 Forged forging steel rings seamless rolled rings,AISI L6 Forged Forging Steel Hubs housing shell Sleeves Bushes Bushing Cases Hollow Bars,55NCDV7 forging forged steel shafts, gear, pinion shafts, spindles, gear wheel,5KHNM Forged Forging Steel Discs Disks Blocks plates,55NCDV7 Forged Forging Steel Pipe Tubes Tubings Piping Shells Casings Case barrels Housings.
AISI L6,SKT4,55NCDV7,5KHNM,5KHNV is Nickel-chrome–molybdenum-vanadium steel for hardening in the stream of air or in oil with high hardenability. The steel has high hardness after hardening, good resistance to the tempering, good toughness and good firmness during the heat. Is resists quick temperature changes and also thermal fatigue. The steel is well-workable during the heat and well-workable in the soft-annealed state.
Main applications include:
mold blocks hammers and pile drivers
decks for hammers
cylinder hot rolling mills
dies and punches very hard for cold work.
FOllowing is melting methods for all AISI L6,SKT4,55NCDV7,5KHNM,5KHNV forged material as per client choices
1 EAF: Electric Arc Furnace
2 EAF+LF+VD: Refined-smelting and vacuum degassing
3 EAF+ESR: Electro Slag Remelting
4 EAF+PESR: protective atmosphere Electro Slag Remelting
5 VIM+PESR: Vacuum induction melting

Forging 850-1100 degree Cool slowly in air or in other thermally-insulated material
Soft annealing 650-700 degree Warm few hours (according to the size of object), mostly four hours are enough and cool slowly in the furnace
Annealing to lower tension 600-650 degree Warm 1 to 2 hours and cool slowly in the furnace
Hardening in air 860-900 degree Bigger and more rugged tools
in oil 830-870 degree Cool in oil up to about 100 °C
Tempering 450-650 degree Cool in air, the degree of tempering is set by hardness and toughness of instrument according to the tempering chart
