Heat treatment way of 9Х2МФ forging steel rolls is as followings
Softening annealing below Ac1 w temperature 690 - 710℃ with cooling in a box, ash or sand
Softening annealing above Ac1 w temperature 750 - 770℃ with cooling in a furnace up to 600℃ with max. of 20℃/h
Softening annealing above Ac1 at 750 - 770 ℃ with cooling with isothermal conversion at 670 - 710 ℃
Hardening at 810 - 850℃ with cooling in oil Tempering at 100 ℃ in the air
Hardness of 9Х2МФ forged rolls in softened condition < 229 HB, after hardening and tempering min. of 62 HRC
Hardness of 9Х2МФ win softened condition < 248 HB, after hardening and tempering min. of 62 HRC
All our finished 9H2MF,9Ch2MF,9Х2МФ forged parts will have NDT UT & MT result within the mill cert. NDT shall follow below criteria:
NDT Ultrasonic:
· The forging shall not have any UT indication greater than 0.039” (1 mm)
· All detected indications must be separated at least 2” (51 mm) in all directions.
NDT Magnetic Particle
· No linear indications.
· No stringers in excess of 1 mm (0.039”) length in all coupling fits and bearing journals.
· No stringers in disk bores or blade root areas.
· No stringers in excess of 1 mm (0.039”) length in all other areas
ALl our finished 9H2MF,9Ch2MF,9Х2МФ forged rolls should be delivered to the customers with a certificate. In the certificate the following
details should be specified:
1) heat No. (for ESR and VAR metal - original heat No. and remelting heat No.);
2) blank No.;
3) order No.;
4) drawing No.;
5) these specifications' No.;
6) steel grade;
7) steel melting and pouring practice;
8) chemical composition;
9) content of hydrogen in metal for blanks with a more than 500 mm diameter made without degassing while pouring (as required by the consumer);
10) mechanical and hardness test findings (with indication of sampling locations);
11) macrostructure test findings;
12) ultrasonic test findings;
13) residual stresses;
14) periscopic test findings;
