Soft Annealing
Heat to 650-700c, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 217.
Carburizing
880-980 0c, water, oil, air, hot quenching 150-250Pc or case hardening box.
Core hardening
Temperature: 860-900c.
Surface hardening
Tempertaure: 720-820c, oil, water or 'hot quenching.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 150-200c.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1150-850c.
