FOllowing is heat treatment way of 2.4816,NiCr15Fe,NiCr15Fe8 forging material
Softening by annealing begins at about 1600°F (871°C), and is reasonably complete after 10 to 15 minutes of heating at 1800°F (982°C). Above this temperature, grain growth may be objectionable, although very brief heating at 1900°F will cause complete softening without undue grain growth. Since the rate of cooling has no effect on the softening, the material may be water quenched or air cooled.

Material shall be produced by a triple melt process consisting of vacuum induction melting (VIM)followed by electroslag consumable electrode remelting (ESR)and vacuum arc consumable electrode remelting VAR).

Tensile strength: 585-830 MPa
Yield strength: 240-620 MPa
Elongation: 50-30%
Tensile test specimens shall betaken from the test location shown on the Purchasers 2.4816 forged parts drawing.The long dimension of the specimens should approximate the tangential direction of the disc forging.
Four tensile specimens (two RT tensiles and two 650°C tensiles)shall be tested from the test location of each disc.The two RT tensile tests shall be 180 degrees apart and the 650°C tensile tests shall be 180 degrees apart and 90 degrees from the RT tensile test positions.
The tensile specimens shall be the Standard Round 0.500-inch (12.5 mm)diameter with 2 inch (50 mm) gage length according to ASTM A370.Yield strength shall be determined at 0.2% offset.
Brinell hardness is to be determined at 10 locations:4 on each rim face 90 degrees from each other and one at the center (or near the bore area)of each face.
Brinell hardness shall be also determined on each tension and creep rupture test specimen.

Microstructure Row Material:
Specimens taken in the mid-radius and center of the slab used for macrographic examination
All areas containing structural anomalies observed at the macrographic inspection
The microstructure shall be examined within areas marked on drawing.The microstructure shall also be examined within areas where the macro etch testing has revealed deviations from normal structure Test Ring locations 90 degrees apart and examined at 100X magnification.These samples shall be viewed in the radial direction of the disc forging.
