The maximym diameter of forging steel Mandrel Bar that we could produce is up to 900MM
The maximum length of forged steel mandrel bars that we could produce is up to 25 meter
Our forged steel mandrel bars are wildedly used in seamless tube mill types including;MPM,Continuous tube mill, PQF and FQM mills;ot Rolled Tube Mill - Piercing press and push bench ,Assel Mills both floating and retained,Plug and Pilger mills;
Material specification as required, including AISI H13, X35CrMo V51 and 4CrMoSi V1;
The melting method of all our forging steel Mandrel Bar is as following
EAF+LF+VD OR +ESR
Forging ratio of all our forged steel Mandrel Bar ≥ 8 / 1.
The mechanical property of Mandrel Bar is as following
Tensile strength: RM = 1050 MPa Minimum (105 kg/mm²)
RM = 1280 MPa Maximum (130 kg/mm²)
Yield strength: Ys ≥ 880 MPa
Elongation: Min .A=10%
Reduction of area: Min.Z=30%
Charpy V-Notch impact test: Min. Kv ≥ 20j, testing at room temperature.
hardness 320-370HB
We could forged, Normalized, Annealed , Quenched,tempered, final machined mandrel bars as per clients draing

Mandrel Bars are one of the key pieces of tooling required during the production of Seamless Tubes and Pipes. Once the billet has been pierced, the Mandrel Bar supports the tube shell internally during elongation and wall thickness reduction.
During producting, it has to bear strong and complicate stretch, compressing touching stress and high temperature cold -hot yield stress under high speed cycling. Under these circumstance, chemical components, mechanical properties, no-metallic inclusion, grain size, microstructure, ultrasonic test, size precision, surface finish, all such factores of steel are required very strictly.
