The melting methods of all forged steel turbine flat bars is T Ef / Eaf + Lf + Vd / ESR that depends on clients needs,also for nicke alloy forged blade need multiple melted using consumable electrode practice in the remelt cycle or shall be induction melted under vacuum. If consumable electrode remelting is not performed in vacuum, electrodes which have been produced by vacuum induction melting shall be used for remelting.

Annealed/quenched + tempered, stress-free annealed, solution annealed treatment, ageing treatment

mechanical properties, toughness, macrostructure, microstructure, grain size and cleanliness, hardness and make visual and dimensional controls, ultrasonic testing and identity control. FATT (Fracture Appearance Transition Temperature) and examine morphology of fracture steel surfaces, evaluate the share of intercrystalline fracture.

ALl our forged turbine blade flat bars should be accepted by the QC department by conducting the following examinations:
1) external examination;
2) a check of dimensions and marking;
3) chemical composition examination;
4) mechanical tests;
5) macrostructure examination;
6) residual stress measurement;
7) ultrasonic testing;
8) periscopic testing.
Every forgeed turbine flat bars blank should be delivered to the consumer with a certificate. In the certificate the following details should be specified:
1) heat No. (for ESR and VAR metal - original heat No. and remelting heat No.);
2) blank No.;
3) order No.;
4) drawing No.;
5) these specifications' No.;
6) steel grade;
7) steel melting and pouring practice;
8) chemical composition;
9) content of hydrogen in metal for blanks with a more than 500 mm diameter made without degassing
while pouring (as required by the consumer);
10) mechanical and hardness test findings (with indication of sampling locations);
11) macrostructure test findings;
12) ultrasonic test findings;
13) residual stresses;
14) periscopic test findings;
15) shear fracture in impact test pieces as well as data relating to the manufacturing of the blanks: ingot weight, blank weight, heat treatment temperature conditions, details of the repeated heat treatment and straightening of the blanks.
