F22 is a s a low-alloy steel, and it is very deep-hardening and heat-treatable. Furthermore, it normally contains about 12% carbon, 2.25% chromium, and 1.0% molybdenum, which are the three main hardening elements. The steel is used in wellhead applications and is an upgrade over the AISI 4130 type of steel.

-Heat treatment condition/parameters and forging reduction rate.
MARKING of our finished A182-F22 forging parts
Each forging shall be plainly stamped as per clients requirement on one side of the rim,near the periphery, with the following:
a.Purchaser Agreement Number.
b.PDS-Specification and Revision Number.
c.Drawing Number,including Item Number and Issue Number.
d.Forging Number.
e.Test Number.
Forgings shall not be shipped unless stamped by the Purchaser's representative.
Marking methodshall follow the requirements of applicable drawing(s)listed on the Purchase Order.
