Steel making Process of 30CrMoV9 forging round bars
Electric arc furnace or blast furnace and oxygen blast converter shall be used, each with subsequent ladle treatment;
Steel shall be vacuum degassed;
Steel shall be non-radioactive;
Quality class shall beat least MQ in accordance with ISO 6336-5 or DIN 3990-5;
Standard EN 10083 shall be followed.

Soft Annealing
Heat to 650-720℃, cool slowly in the furnace. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 248.
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 870-930℃, followed by oil/polymer or water quenching.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 580-700℃.
Nitriding
Gas/plasma nitriding temperature (gas, salt bath): 570-580℃
Gas/plasma nitriding temperature (powder, plasma): 580℃

3) chemical composition examination;
4) mechanical tests;
5) macrostructure examination;
6) residual stress measurement;
7) ultrasonic testing;
8) periscopic testing.
ALl our finished producrtion of 30CrMoV9 forged round bars should have inspection certificate as per 3.1B of EN 10204 shall be provided to clients in triplicate;this certificate must contain the following dala:
