The production stand of all our forged steel wheels is as per DIN 15078, DIN 15079, DIN 15090, DIN 15093, SID S466A, SID S466E,
All of our Forged steel crane and industrial wheels are normalized prior to heat treatment, undergo a proprietary hardening process, are immediately quenched, then tempered back to the stable hardness range required by the application or design.
All our forged steel crane wheels can be NDE tested upon request or as required, with UT (Ultrasonic) testing per ASTM A-388 and MT (Wet Magnetic Particle) testing per ASTM A-275.
Following is hardness requirement of all our forged steel crane wheels
HARDNESS: immersion quenched - 270 to 390 HB. Surface quenched - 390 to 550 HB (hardened depth of up to 35mm). or as per requiement of clients
