Material is to be produced by Arc Furnace. Material shall meet all the requirements mentioned in this document. Refining procedure such as Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) or Vacuum Oxygen Decarburization (VOD) shall be adopted. Subsequent re-melting by ESR process is permitted.
ALl our forged steel Casing Scraper should have Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP)including:
Reference documents: specifications, etc,
Checking operations, with acceptance criteria and applicable frequencies
List of the different steps of the manufacturing process
Important parameters (i.e. temperature and holding time for the heat treatments)Manufacturing plants and / or the subcontractors (if applicable)
