AMS 5628 is a high chromium-nickel corrosion-resistant martensitic stainless steel. It is extremely corrosion resistant and offers very good strength and toughness. It is typically used in aerospace and defence applications or where higher mechanical properties than 410 are required and where corrosive conditions are not too severe.
