The F6NM forged rings should be be in compliance with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-1:2015, namely shall have a maximum hardness of 23 HRC and shall be:
"1) austenitized at 1 010°C (1 850°F) minimum, then air- or oil-quenched to ambient temperature;
"
"2) tempered at 649°C to 691°C (1 200°F to 1 275°F), then air-cooled to ambient temperature;
"
3) tempered at 593°C to 621°C (1 100°F to 1 150°F), then air-cooled to ambient temperature.
Impact test of F6NM forging rings should be carried (both KCV and KCU) according to following requirements with indication of results in certificate:
KCV-70≥ 30 J/cm2,
KCU-70≥40 J/cm2
F6NM forged rings shall be 100% Ultrasonic test according to EN 10228 (Diameter or wall thickness up to 150 mm -
quality class 3, greater than 150 mm - quality class 2 / EN 10308 quality class 3
F6NM forged rings shall be Intergranular corrosion resistant acc. to ASTM A262-2015 Practice E"
Certificates for material with Chemical analysis, Heat Treatment and Mechanical testings should be provided along with mill certificate for raw material
The certificates should contain the NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-1:2015 compliance mark.
The mechanical testing, impact test should be performed at the third-party laboratory certified by ILAC/NABL. Separate laboratory certificate should be provided for these tests. The ultrasonic test could be carried out on-site for this order with issuing the certificate for results.
